How Self Storage Works
Simple Guide to How Self Storage works
So, whether it’s personal storage, household storage, hobby storage, sport storage or seasonal storage, just think of it like your spare room or garage where you can come and go as often as you want during our opening hours.
What do I need to bring when I first rent a Unit?
We require a few details before you begin storing. Other than the items you wish to store we require the following:
1) IDENTIFICATION
We require photographic ID, ideally a passport or driving licence. We also require proof of your current address on either a utility bill or bank statement.
2) INSURANCE
In order to store with us your belongings must be insured. Insurance can be purchased with us or alternatively you can provide your own.
3) PAYMENT METHOD
To rent a unit we will require payment for your first 4 weeks plus a small security deposit and insurance if you are not providing your own. We will need either credit or debit card details for your first payment and recommend setting up a direct debit or standing order for long-term rentals.
4) SECURITY
You will need a padlock to secure your unit. You can bring along your own or you can buy a high-quality lock in our on-site shop. We also take your photograph to hold on record for future verification of your identity.
